MoonLight Mares (CLOSED SPECIES)~

A moonlight Mare is a pony (mostly female, but some are males) who lives in a tribe of close friends and family. They usually sleep during the day hidden deep in the forrests. They wake at night to eat, goof off, and do all things ponies love to do. The fuller the moon, the more energetic they are.
Moonlight Mares' eyes, and wings must be the same colors. (its a genetic theing XD) Their coat will be a darker color, as their mane/tails will be an irradesent color. Thier eyes and manes/tails glow brightly at night, but are duller durring the day. They can walk around other ponies and noone would now what they are.

The fillies wear a rope "collar". This is for safety and leadership reasons. If a filly strays or the tribe needs to get somewhere fast, an elder member grabs the end of a filly's rope to keep them near the tribe. As for a leadership reason, their father or coltfriend puts the rope on their mare to represent that that filly belongs to them.

Older mares wear metal "collars" these are for accessories, and or to show that they belong to a stallion (either thei fater or husband)

When a moonlight mare gets their cutiemark, the whole tribe celebrates with a party at midnight. That pony must perform their talent in front of the tribe.

When a mare becomes pregnant she is not allowed to leave the tribe's camp. Moonlight ponies are rare, and they cannot risk loosing a next generation. When the baby is born, it must survive the day on its own. It and its mother must stay awake for 24 hours straight., with only water from a special fountian to drink. (this ritual is meant to make mother and baby stronger, and gives them time to bond alone.)

Names are each unique and different. no two names can be the  same.
